Feed Me: corn flake onion rings.

Hello!

I have a fantastic recipe for you today thanks to my lovely sister! If I got the art genes, she got the cooking ones. It’s like everything she touches turns to bacon! (or something just as good!)

This stemmed out of an onion ring craving, but a lost carton of bread crumbs. She had corn flakes on hand, therefore, she whipped this up! Let us know if you try it and how it came out!

Ingredients:

2 onions, sliced and separated and covered in flour

1 cup of crushed corn flakes

1 cup of flour

dash of italian seasoning and salt

2 eggs

frying oil (olive, grapeseed, canola, your choice.)

Directions:

Heat up a frying pan with about an half inch of oil. Mix flour, corn flakes, seasoning, and salt in a flat bowl or rimmed plate. In a second bowl, crack and whisk the eggs with a little water or milk. Now the fun part! Take your floured onion slice, dip in egg, and flour mix, and placed in frying pan. Flip when browned. Place on a paper towel to dab excess oil. Serve with veggies, hamburgers, or your favorite hot wings!

Thanks for visiting!
